Gospodarstwo Ekologiczne Kosy
This is a medium-sized organic, traditional farm (10 ha). The farmers grow cereals, vegetables and potatoes and keep cows, pigs, hens, ducks and bees. The old brick house has been well kept and is typical of the region. On the farm live the farmers, five children and three other adults.
Accommodation: campsite with a hot shower and toilet. You can hire bikes here (3).
Surroundings: In Chmielno there is a pottery museum. In Kartuzy (3 km) is the Kashuba Land Museum and a coffin-shaped church (a monument). The Lake District of Kashubia, also called Kashubian Switzerland, is known for its botanical diversity and its ethnic and cultural identity. Among 250 species of birds, one can see very rare black storks, cranes and heath-cocks. Gdansk is within easy reach of here.
