Komańcza is located in Carpathian Mountains; at the boundary of Bieszczady Mountains and Lower Beskids (it is often called “the gateway to Bieszczady”). The village is surrounded with forests and the entire area belongs to Natura 2000 Area. Our small farm provides agricultural products for our family and guests. We grow vegetables and tend flowers in the garden. The house is heated with a wood-burning stove and a solar installation. We are a four generation family – grandmother, Roman and his wife Anna, and three of their seven children.

Accommodation includes 3 rooms (double and triple) with a common bathroom in the corridor. They are also welcome to make use of a large kitchen. You can buy some food products at the farm or in the local shop. They also offer four fully equipped cottages for all seasons (bathroom, kitchenette, fridge, TV, Wi-Fi). Every cottage can house up to four people. You can enjoy home-made meals, mainly prepared from our own products. You can also ride a mountain bike or go fishing in the creeks or ponds. In winter you can enjoy cross-country or downhill skiing (local ski lifts), ski touring or sledge rides.

For the nature lovers there are the Duszatyn Lakes and Zwiezło Nature Reserve. Of course you can go on a trip with the Bieszczadzka Forest Railway and enjoy the stunning views. The Andy Warhol Museum of Modern Art in Medzilaborce (25 km) lies just over the Czech border and there is a mountain bike route that’s going there. In Sanok is the Rural Architecture Museum. There are ski lifts in Karlików, Lesko, Puławy and in Slovakia.
