Stadnina Koni Huculskich Chutir
Welcome to this farm, beautifully located in a tiny village called Czystogarb, in the Bieszczady Mountains. The land of beautiful landscapes, crystal-clear mountain creeks, forests and high-mountain pastures are home to wolves, bears, lynxes and European bisons. They have more than 50 ponies of which 30 are saddle horses. The farm buildings are all made of wooden logs, with wood shingled roofs and wooden finish.
Guests stay in two cottages. One of them is a two-storey cottage with 2 separate entrances. Each storey has its own kitchen with an oven and a bathroom. The other one has rooms with mezzanines and bathrooms, a living room and kitchen. Both cottages have verandas. They offer a variety of experiences with their horses: diverse trails passing across the mountains, valleys, rivers, and through the forests with accommodation in mountain hostels, family run farms etc. Also horseback riding camps with accommodation on the farm. The horses that will accompany you are Hucul ponies originating from Eastern Carpathians and well known for their hardiness and ability to trot on sloping ground and over tight and dangerous trails in the mountains.
For the nature lovers there are the Duszatyn Lakes and Zwiezło Nature Reserve. Of course you can go on a trip with the Bieszczadzka Forest Railway and enjoy the stunning views. The Andy Warhol Museum of Modern Art in Medzilaborce (25 km) lies just over the Czech border and there is a mountain bike route that’s going there. In Sanok is the Rural Architecture Museum. There are ski lifts in Karlików, Lesko, Puławy and in Slovakia.
