Poggio Pratelli
Immersed in the glorious Tuscan landscape, you can rediscover the almost forgotten scents and sounds of nature.
The farmhouse has been restored preserving the original wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta tile floors, both the buildings and gardens have carefully maintained the atmosphere of a genuine Tuscan farm. The first apartment is located on two stories in the earliest-built part of the house. The ground floor contains the living-room and the kitchen. The doors give out onto the garden used by this apartment, with a vine-covered terrace from which you have a beautiful panorama reaching across the valley to the surrounding hills. On the second floor is a room with king-size bed and the bathroom. The second apartment is on the ground floor, and sleeps four, with two bedrooms (one with king bed and one with twin beds) and a bath and a large eat-in kitchen facing out onto the garden. This apartment also has its own terrace.
In the surrounding countryside it’s possible to take beautiful walks along old Etruscan roads or mediaeval pilgrimage routes, or hike the ridge of the Chianti Mountains which runs all the way from Florence to Siena, or admire the unique and rugged landscape of the “Balze” of the Upper Arno Valley, or visit some of the many lovely little Romanesque churches.
