Ekofarm Czaniec
The farm is situated in the area of an outstanding scenic beauty of the Little Beskids. The farm is located on the outskirts of the village. The buildings are new and there is an extensive garden behind the main house. The farmers grow grains, vegetables and fruit on 4 hectares. They also raise cows, horses, pigs, ducks, chickens and rabbits.
Guests can choose from two kinds of bedrooms – an older one in the main house and 2 new ones above the barn. There are two double bedrooms and one for three persons and one room for four persons. There is also a little campsite. On this farm you can learn the secrets of making cheese and butter, baking bread, cooking traditional and vegetarian dishes as well as making delicious jams and other preserves. The surrounding forests abound with mushrooms and berries. The meals are based on organic products since the farm has been awarded the Agro Bio Test certification for many years.
It’s a good place for walking and collecting mushrooms. Near the farm is Żar Mountain with its artificial water reservior on the top. It is used for making electricity. It is also possible to learn hang gliding in here. From here you can visit the historical cities of Bielsko Biała and Kraków. It is worth exploring the reservoirs in Czaniec, Międzybrodzie and Żywiec as well as the sports airfield located on the Żar Mountain. It is not far to Wadowice or Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, it’s an important place of pilgrimage to Poland. From here many tourist routes run into the picturesque region of the Little Beskids.
