Eko-Chatka
The farm (4,5 ha) is located in the Strug Valley 18 km away from the provincial capital Rzeszów and 14 km from another historical town – Łańcut. It is in close proximity to one of the main roads leading to the Bieszczady Mountains. The farm consists of two residential buildings, one of which is built in a traditional wooden style, typical for the region, and is almost 80 years old. The buildings are surrounded with an orchard where classic varieties of fruit are grown. The hosts often take part in various actions run by ecological organizations.
You can choose between a room (single or double) in the new residential house or in the old wooden house built before WWII, which is now being restored to its former glory. There is also a possibility to sleep in the hayloft or in tents. They can offer a varied menu comprising of the products grown on our farm or on nearby organic farms. We have a sauna and a barbecue shelter, where beer and liqueur tasting events are held in the evening. The landlord, a qualified nature therapist, offers Polynesian massage, and if you are a bit of a daredevil, why not try fire-walking?
Eco-Chatka is located within the Hyżne and Gwoźnica Landscape Protected Area. There are several nature reserves within 20 km from the farm. Podkarpackie province is famous for its unspoiled natural scenery and abundance of forests. Within a few kilometers there are ski lifts and horse-riding opportunities.
