AgroEko Ranczo
The village is located in the Wieprz River Valley within the area protected under the Natura 2000 program which is home to several protected rare species of birds with plenty of oxbow lakes, lakes and ponds. It’s a modern house situated in the centre of the village near the main road. The farm is run by a friendly and open elderly couple. Garbage segregation and biodynamic farming are the priorities on the farm. It is a paradise for anglers, wild mushroom hunters and bird watchers as well as those who have a respect and appreciation for delicious local, organic food.
Three guest rooms are located on the first floor. The guests can use a kitchenette, bathroom and a living room on the ground floor and are more than welcome to prepare their own preparations like jams or juices using home-grown produce.
In the Sobieszyn area there are several large man-made ponds located within the Wieprz River Valley where carp is bred. “Pradolina Wieprza” is a Protected Landscape Area with rich wetland vegetation and rare species of birds. The area is also home to the only turtle living in the wild in Poland, namely the strictly protected European pond turtle. The Wieprz is wild and scenic, and places of exceptional beauty are in Korzeniów, Białki, Żabianka, Ułęż and Sobieszyn. Other places worth a visit include numerous beautifully renovated churches in Sobieszyn, Żabianka (wooden church), Michów, Baranów and Ryki, and a monastery in Wola Gułowska. History lovers will enjoy palaces in Sarny, Sobieszyn and Podlodów.
