Location and atmosphere

This mixed farm in de province Zeeland dates from 1786. On the grounds there is a shed of about 230 years old, that maybe replaced on of these days. The farm of 22 ha is moving to organic management. There is a varied livestock and at the farmhouse there are eggs, potatoes, meat and wool for sale. There is a piece of land of organic vegetables, herbs and flowers. The farm is a care farm too. In the holiday you can ‘purchase’ care for a child or an adult.

Facillities

You can come camping on a simple site, where there are pitches for ten tents and five caravans and campers. There are open and more sheltered spots. For children there is a sandbox and a swing in a tree. When the animals are cared for children are allowed to come along. There is a labyrinth in the garden. You can get a tour around the farm, if desired with a theme. You can also follow herb courses in which you learn how to use first aid herbs and how to prepare herbal oil and vinegar.

Surroundings and activities

The open dike landscape in the surroundings is well fit for bicycle tours; the Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe is located on 7 km. In the water-collection area Sint Jansteen-Clinge you can cycle as well as walk. The Grenslandpad (long distance walking path) runs along the farm. You can walk over the town ramparts of Hulst, climb the tower, make a city walk or sail in a kayak on the Vest. The Belgian towns Antwerp, Ghent, Catzand and Bruges offer countless opportunities of culture, shopping and going out. In Paal you'll find biodynamic restaurant Kint & Co, which is supplied with vegetables by Klein Hoefken. There is also a small port In the village Paal.
