Landschapscamping Kijkuit
The arable farm Farm Kijkuit with its scenic campsite is situated on Schouwen-Duiveland, central in the Delta of the province of Zeeland and directly at the lake of the Grevelingenmeer. Kijkuit is a part of a nature reserve of 8 ha. The accommodation has been rewarded the gold label of the Green Key, the Dutch eco-label.
The campsite is divided in private fields , all with it's own character. The 75 spacious pitches are supplied with water, electricity and sewerage. Besides camping, you can rent one of the two holiday homes for six persons. Each home is fully equipped and has three bedrooms. Pets are welcome after agreement and your own horse or pony too. Wireless internet is available.
The marvellous Grevelingenmeer offers enormous opportunities for swimming, surfing, sailing, fishing and diving. But the beaches of the North Sea, the Oosterschelde, Waterland Neeltje Jans and the attractive cities of Dreischor, Zierikzee and Veere are also worth a visit. There are many possibilities walkers and cyclists. Enjoy the flowering borders along the cycle route of Zonnestraal, a project of organizations of agriculture and nature on Schouwen-Duiveland. The farmers don’t use pesticides and fertilizer on the edges of their fields and don’t harvest. Instead they sow colourful, flowering plants which are attractive for bumblebees, butterflies, birds, small mammals and... for your nose and eyes!
