On the boundary of the nature reserve ‘Het Gooi’ and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug lies this nature campsite. Hidden in the woods, you find this pretty campsite with clean and functional sanitary facilities, space and ...beautiful nature!

On this campsite are places for 20 tents and 40 caravans. There is no organized entertainment, no shop and no canteen. Fazantenhof is thus ideal for people who appreciate silence and camping in the pure nature. For the small camping-guest (however) there are swings, a sand-box and a seesaw as playing facilities. Adults can play table tennis and jeu de boules. After agreement with the owners you can bring your pet. The camping ground is car free.

Cyclists and walkers can make lovely trips in the woody natur: there is a whole network of routes. With a little luck you will see a badger in the Badger Forest where there is a Badger Tunnel under the road, the A 27, much spoken of. Horse riding is possible at several maneges in the neighbourhood. Swimming facility is to be found in the Baarnse Bosbad, after a beautiful cycle-tour of about 6 km. The Loosdrechtse Plassen are not far away, either. On walking distance you find a pancake restaurant and you can do your shopping in Maartensdijk (4 km).
