La Montaña Magica (‘the magic mountain’) is a fantastic complex of old farmhouses, situated high up in the mountains with an overwhelming view of the Picos de Europa (25 km away). This is a very quiet and remote location. Carlos and Pilar, who have two small children, welcome you to their environmentally friendly paradise.

Twenty-six sheep and 11 endangered Asturcón horses graze around the farm. Guests may ride and groom the smaller horses. In a dale nearby there are several greenhouses where organic produce is grown for the kitchen. Vegetarian meals are available.

The lodgings have beautiful rooms with baths. Two of these (for up to 4 guests each) have an extra sitting room with open fireplace. There is also a common sitting room with fireplace and a dining room where meals are served. Woodcarving and riding lessons are given on the premises. Bicycles can be hired on the farm. Hiking and riding paths from the farm lead to caves with prehistoric drawings and other sights. There are outstanding beaches 10 km away.
